I'm just a guy who thinks background job frameworks shouldn't care what language you write, but until recently there weren't many options that didn't require specific frameworks. Enter Faktory. Made by the creator of Sidekiq (Ruby on Rails' job framework of choice), Faktory completely agnostic of worker implementations and that's just the greatest! I want Faktory to become the framework of choice for background job management. To make it easier to adopt, I've built ACK Foundry. Hosted Faktory servers, pure and simple.
